Let A={2,4,8,16,32) and B={4,16} Show that `A cup B=A`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

A={2,4,8,16,32}
B={4,16}
Clearly, `B subset A`
`A cup B={2,4,8,16,32}=A (therefore B subset A" then "A cup B=A)`
So, `A cup B=A`
