Find the distance between the. Points P(1, 2, 5) and Q(-2, 3, 6).

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The distance between P(1, 2, 5) and Q(-2, 3, 6) is
`PQ = sqrt((x_(2)-x_(1))^(2) + (y_(2)-y_(1))^(2)+(z_(2)-z_(1))^(2))`
`= sqrt((-2-1)^(2)+(3-2)^(2)+(6-5)^(2))`
`= sqrt(9+1+1)=sqrt(11)` units
