Find the angles between the pair of line...

Find the angles between the pair of lines given by
`x/2=y/2=z/1, (x-5)/4=(y-2)/1=(z-3)/8`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Direction ratios od two lines are 2, 2, 1 and 4, 1, 8 respectively
so angle between these two line
`cos theta =(8+2+8)/(sqrt(9) sqrt(81))`
`=18/(3xx9)`
`cos theta = 2/3`
`rArr theta =cos^(-1)(2/3)`
