How will the pH of brine (aq NaCl solution) be affected when it is electrolysed.

When aqueous NaCl solution is electrolysed, `H_(2)` is liberated at cathode, `Cl_(2)` at anode and NaOH is formed in the solution. Hence, pH of the solution will stops.
