The mechanism through which the timing and amount of hormone released and regulated in our body, by the glands is called feedback mechanism of hormonic regulation. For example, if the sugar level in the blood rises, this is detected by the cells of the pancreas which respond by producing more insulin to oxidize the sugar. As the blood sugar level falls, insulin secretion is reduced automatically.
