Find the value of x and y if (i) `3x+(2x-y)i=6-3i` (ii) ` 3x + 5yi = 5i`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) `3x+(2x-y)i = 6-3i`
Comparing real and imaginary part both sides,
`=>3x = 6 and 2x-y = -3`
`=> x = 2 and 2(2)-y = -3`
`=>x = 2 and y = 7`
