What is the perimeter of a rectangle?

The perimeter of a rectangle is characterized as the total distance around the rectangle externally. It is the sum of all the four sides of the rectangle. Perimeter fundamentally provides the length of the figure. In case of a square, which has every side of same length, the perimeter of the square will be simply multiple times of its sides.
