Can y=ax+b/a be the solution of x (dy)/(...

Can `y=ax+b/a` be the solution of `x (dy)/(dx)+b/((dy)/(dx))` If no,find the solution of DE

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`y = ax+b/a`
`=>dy/dx = a`
Putting value of `dy/dx` in `xdy/dx+b/(dy/dx)`
we get `xa+b/a`, which is equal to `y`.
`:. y = ax+b/a` is a solution of given differential equation.
