The LCM of xy+yz+zx+y^2 and x^2+xy+yz+zx...

The LCM of `xy+yz+zx+y^2` and `x^2+xy+yz+zx`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here `a = xy+yz+zx+y^2`
`=>a = y(x+y)+z(x+y)`
`=>a = (x+y)(y+z)`
Now, `b = x^2+xy+yz+zx`
`=>b = x(x+y)+z(x+y)`
`=>b = (x+y)(x+z)`
`:. LCM` of `a` and `b = (x+y)(y+z)(z+x)`
