A striaght line perpendicular to 2x + y =3 is
2 y - x +c=0
Since , it passes though (1,1)
2 (1) -1 + c =0
` Rightarrow c = -1 `
On putting c = -1 in Eq. (i) ,we get
2y -x-1 = 0
` Rightarrow 2y -x =1`
`y/(1//2) -x/1=1 `
So , the y - intercept is `1/2`
