The correct Answer is:
A

`underset(1" mol")underset(=223.2)underset(207.2+16)(PbO)+underset(2" mol")underset(=73)underset(2(35.5+1))(2HCl)tounderset(1" mol")underset(=278.2)underset(207.2+71)(PbCl_(2))+H_(2)O`
Number of moles of HCl
`=(3.2)/(36.5)=0.087` mol
Thus, 2 mol of HCl gives = 1 mol of `PbCl_(2)`
`therefore 0.087 "mol of "HCl=(1xx0.87)/(2)" mol of "PbCl_(2)`
`=0.0438 " mol"=0.044"mol "PbCl_(2)`
