`9x^2-24xy+16y^2-12x+16y-12=0`
`rArr (3x-4y+2)(3x-4y-6)=0`
`rArr 3x-4y+2=0 and 3x-4y-6=0`
Thus , it is a parallel lines.
Hence , distance between lines is `(|-(-2)|)/(5)=(8)/(5)` units .
