Find the combined equation of the lines ...

Find the combined equation of the lines passing through the origin such that
(1) one is parallel to ` x + 2y = 5` and other is perpendicular to `2x - y + 3 = 0.`
(2) which are perendicular to the lines `3x + 2y -1 = 0` and `x -3y + 2 = 0`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(1) `x^(2) + 4xy + 4y^(2) = -0`
(2) `6x^(2) - 7xy - 3y^(2) = 0`.
