Homoleptic complex.

Text Solution

The complexes in which central metal atom or ion is attached to one kine of donor group (ligands) are called homoleptic complexes. E.g., `[Co(NH_(3))_(4)Cl_(2)]^(+)`. In this complex, `Co^(3+)` ion is attached to two kinds of ligands, namely four `NH_(3)` and two `Cl^(-)`
