Explain the process of budding in Hydra with the help of labelled diagram.

1. Budding is the process of asexual reproduction seen in multicellular but less evolved animals.

2. On the lateral side of the body parent Hydra a smal bud grows. This bud develops into Young Hydra.
3. Young Hydra then detaches from the parent body upon reachign enough development.
4. After detachment it leads an independent life.
