Chart showing cross between carrier female with normal male :
(I) Carrier female crossed with normal male :

(II) ( 1) If a carrier female `(X^(c)X^(c))` marries a male with normal vision `(X^(c)Y)` then all daughters will have normal vision.
(2) But half of the daughters will be carriers for the colour blindness.
(3) Half of the sons will be colour blind while remaining will have normal vision.
(4) From the above crosses, it is obvious that the pattern of inheritance of colour blindness is criss-cross.
