Find the equivalent capacitance of the point A and B .

Let the equivalent capacitance be C, since it is an infinite series , So there will be negligible change if the arrangement is doen as in (fig.)
From figure ` C_eq = 1`
`rArr (2 + C) C = 3 C + 2 `
`rArr 2C + C^(2) = 3 C + 2C`
`rArr C^(2) - C - 2 = 0`
`rArr (C - 2 ) (C + 1 ) = 0 `
`rArr C = -1 (impossible )`,
So, `C = 2 MF`.
