Radius of the cylindrical glass `r=5/2 cm`
Height of the cylinder glass h = 10 cm
Radius of the hemispherical part , `r= 5/2 cm `
Apparent capacity of the glass s
Apparent capacity of the glass
= volume of the cylinder
`=pi r^2 h`
`=(3.14 xx 5/2xx5/2xx 10)cm^2`
`=196.25 cm^2`
Volume of the hemispherical part
`=2/3pi^3 =(2/3xx 3.14 xx 5/2 xx5/2xx5/2)cm^3`
`=(196.25)/(6)cm^2 = 32.708 cm^2`
`=- 32. 71cm ^3`

`therefore` actual capacity of the glass
= apparent capacity of the glass - volume of the hemispherical part
`= (196.25 - 32. 71 ) cm^3 = 163.54 xm^3`
