Elevation Of Boiling Point

Boiling point is when the vapour pressure of any substance is going to rise to equal the pressure with atmospheric pressure around it. If we have an unadulterated solvent (water), we know that the surface of water, particles are going to escape into vapour pressure into vapour to and fro, to and fro, and there will have some sort of pressure up there.

On increasing the heat of the substance, the pressure is going to increase because of the increase in kinetic energy and it is going to attain the pressure equal to the atmospheric pressure and then starts to boil.
