The value of `{sin(logi^i)}^3+{cos(logi^i)}^3,` is

A

1

B

`-1`

C

2

D

2i

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
B

We have,
`logz=log|z|+I"arg"(z)`
`[therefore logi^(i)=ilogi=ilog1+ipi//2]=-pi//2`
Thus, we have
`{sin(logi^(i))^(3)+cos(logi^(i))^(3)=sin^(3)(-pi/2)+cos^(3)(-pi/2)}=-1`
