Terms and Conditions

Allen Career Institute Private Limited (“Allen,” “we,” or “us”) offers to individuals currently enrolled in any Allen Online programs, as well as those intending to enroll therein (each, a “Candidate”), the opportunity to register for and participate in the Allen Online TALLENTEX examination (the “Exam”). By registering the Candidate for the Exam or permitting the Candidate to participate therein, “You”, as the parent or legal guardian of the Candidate, hereby expressly acknowledge and agree, on behalf of the Candidate, to be bound by these TALLENTEX Terms and Conditions, together with Allen’s general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Terms”). In the event You do not agree to the Terms, the Candidate shall not be authorized to register for, or participate in, the Exam in any manner whatsoever. Furthermore, participation in the Exam is strictly prohibited in any jurisdiction where such participation would violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.

1. ELIGIBILITY
2. To be eligible to participate in the Exam, Candidates must meet the following requirements:
3. Candidate must be between classes 5^th to 10^th .
4. Candidate must have completed the necessary educational qualifications as required by Allen.
5. Candidate must comply with all registration procedures as detailed in the Allen’s official Exam instructions.
6. Failure to meet eligibility requirements will result in disqualification from the Exam.
7. The Candidate shall be entitled to take the Exam a single attempt each academic year, except as mentioned in Clause C (7) of these Terms. 
8. You irrevocably agree and acknowledge that by the Candidate participating in the Exam, the Candidate shall be ineligible to receive any scholarships, awards, incentives, or rewards under any other TALLENTEX examination conducted by Allen. 

2. REGISTRATION
3. Candidates eligible for the Exam must complete the registration process by submitting the required personal information and documents as specified in the official guidelines. Eligible Candidates must register themselves on ___________________  and create an account (“Exam Account”) in order to participate in the Exam, with no exceptions provided on the timelines.
4. All submitted information must be accurate and truthful. Allen reserve the right to disqualify any Candidate’s participation in the Exam at any time at its sole discretion, including without limitation if he/she does not comply with any of these Terms, engages in any form of misconduct, submits any false or incorrect documentation, or otherwise fails to comply with any applicable laws.
5. Registration includes payment of the registration fees (“Fees”). The Fees stipulated herein may be revised, modified, or amended at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of Allen, without any prior notice or obligation to provide justification therefor.
6. You acknowledge and agree that (i) any issue with payment of the Fees may result in the Candidate’s disqualification from the Exam, and (ii) the Fees is non-refundable. 
7. You hereby acknowledge and agree that the deletion of the Exam Account shall result in the permanent deletion of all associated Candidate information and the forfeiture of any Fees paid. Furthermore, in the event the Exam Account is deleted subsequent to the Candidate’s participation in the Exam, any scholarships that may have been awarded to the Candidate shall be deemed null and void and shall be subject to immediate revocation.   

3. EXAM FORMAT AND CONDUCT
4. The Exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. Allen reserves the right to modify the exam format and content at any time prior to the exam date.
5. Candidates are solely responsible for having access to the necessary equipment and technology to participate in the Exam. 
6. The TALLENTEX shall be a proctored exam. Candidates must adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity during the exam. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or dishonest behavior, including unauthorized access to materials or collaboration with other candidates, will result in immediate disqualification from the Exam and the scholarship program without any refund of the Fees. 
7. All electronic devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches (except those necessary to take the exam) must be turned off and stored away during the Exam unless otherwise instructed. Allen strongly recommends that the Candidate utilize a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet device for the purpose of appearing in the Examination. In the event that the Candidate elects, at their sole discretion, to undertake the Examination using a mobile phone device, the Candidate expressly acknowledges that remote proctoring may be significantly limited or impaired due to the constraints inherent in such a device. Accordingly, the Candidate unconditionally agrees to adhere to the following additional terms and conditions:
8. The Candidate shall notify ALLEN in advance of their intention to use a mobile phone for the Examination by sending an email to wecare@allen.in. Such communication shall clearly state the full name of the Candidate, and the roll number allotted to them.
9. During the course of the Examination, the Candidate shall:
   (i) place the mobile device on a stationary stand, ensuring the device and its camera remain in a fixed position without any change in angle or orientation throughout the duration of the Exam;
   (ii) ensure that the Candidate’s face remains clearly visible at all times to facilitate proper monitoring; and
   (iii) maintain the mobile device in landscape orientation for the entirety of the Exam.
10. Should Allen, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine that the Candidate has engaged in any form of unethical conduct or malpractice in connection with the Exam, Allen reserves the right to declare the Candidate’s participation null and void, without any obligation to provide further justification. 
11. Allen reserves the right to remove any candidate from the Exam for violating any of the rules outlined in these Terms. 
12. The Exam will take place on the below mentioned dates:

a) 5^th October 2025

b) 12^th October 2025

7. Upon selection of a specific date and time slot for Exam, the Candidate shall be obligated to appear for and undertake the Exam at the designated date and time. In the event the Candidate is unable to attend the Exam on the selected date and time due to valid and bona fide reasons, the Candidate may submit a written request to Allen at wecare@allen.in, setting forth the reasons for such non-attendance. Allen reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine the validity of such reasons and, if deemed appropriate, may permit the Candidate to reschedule the Exam to an alternative date. You expressly acknowledge and agree that, in the event the Candidate is unable to appear for the Exam on the final available examination date (the “Last Date”), no further rescheduling shall be permitted under any circumstances. 

4. REWARDS
5. Any scholarship awarded to the Candidate may only be applied towards the purchase of Allen Online Live Courses. The scholarship cannot be used for any other products or services offered by Allen.
6. Candidates who are awarded a scholarship will be notified by Allen. 
7. Allen reserves the right to modify the evaluation or grading process at its discretion, without prior notice.
8. The decision of the Allen regarding the Exam results and scholarship awardees is final and binding. No appeals will be accepted.
9. Once a scholarship has been awarded to a Candidate, the Candidate may apply the scholarship towards the purchase of their chosen Allen Online Live Courses for the next academic year. 
10. Allen may, at its sole and absolute discretion, grant cash rewards to Candidates. The determination of whether to grant such cash rewards, as well as the quantum thereof, shall rest exclusively with Allen and shall be based on multiple evaluative criteria, including but not limited to the academic grade of the Candidate and the rank obtained in the Exam. The Candidate acknowledges and agrees that such rewards are discretionary in nature and that no entitlement or right shall arise in relation thereto.
11. In the event that a Candidate has undertaken the Exam on more than one occasion, the Candidate shall be entitled only to the highest amount of scholarship or cash reward awarded across such appearances. Under no circumstances shall the Candidate be eligible to claim cumulative or multiple scholarships or cash rewards based on multiple attempts.

5. DISQUALIFICATION
6. Allen reserves the right to disqualify any Candidate from the Exam or the scholarship program, without any refund of Fees, for reasons including without limitation:
7. Failure to comply with these Terms.
8. Providing false or misleading information.
9. Engaging in any form of dishonesty, misconduct or immoral acts during the exam.
10. Violating any rules or regulations set forth by Allen. If required under any applicable law. 
11. Sharing of login credentials.
12. Breach of Allen’s confidential information or misappropriation of Allen’s Content.
13. Appearing for the same Exam more than once.
14. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROTECTION
15. By participating in the Exam, You consent to the collection, processing, and storage of the Candidates personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any Rules released pursuant to it.
16. The personal data of the Candidate will be used by Allen for the purposes of administering the Exam, including without limitation to (i) determine the Candidate’s eligibility to participate in the Exam; (ii) create login credentials for the Candidate; (iii) award scholarships to those meeting the rewards criteria; (iv) verify payment of the Fees; and (v) other critical purposes necessary for the Candidate’s participation in the Exam. You acknowledge that the personal data of the Candidate may be shared (i) with third parties that Allen uses to conduct the Exam, or (ii) as required by law, and You hereby consent to the same. 
17. Candidate agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any confidential information or Content related to the Exam, and such obligations of confidentiality shall survive post the Candidate’s participation in the Exam.

7. ALLEN MATERIALS
8. Allen’s online platform and the Exam (including, without limitation, the question paper) contain proprietary content, which includes, but is not limited to, designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files, computer code, questions, and other related materials (collectively, the “Content”). As between the Candidate and Allen, all rights, title, and interest in and to the Content are, and shall at all times remain, the exclusive property of Allen or its respective licensors, and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You, on behalf of the Candidate, expressly acknowledge and agree that registration for or participation in the Exam does not grant the Candidate or You any ownership, license, right, or interest of any kind in or to the Content, whether by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of the Content is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and/or criminal liability.

8. INDEMNITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9. By registering the Candidate for the Exam and by permitting the Candidate to participate therein, You, in Your capacity as the parent or legal guardian of the Candidate, expressly acknowledge, represent, and agree, on behalf of Yourself and the Candidate, as follows:
10. That You have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms, including any decisions made by Allen in connection with the Exam, which shall be final and binding in all respects;
11. That Allen shall not be responsible or liable for any technical issues or interruptions, including but not limited to internet connectivity problems, system outages, server failures, equipment malfunctions, or any other technical difficulties that may prevent the Candidate from registering for, accessing, taking, or completing the Exam.
12. That neither Allen, nor any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, or representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) shall be liable to You or the Candidate for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, use, or other intangible losses, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if Allen has been advised of the possibility of such damages, arising out of or related to: (i) the Candidate’s participation or inability to participate in the Exam; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods or services arising from any goods, data, information, or services obtained, or messages received, or transactions entered into in connection with the Exam; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration, misuse, or loss of the Candidate’s personal data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party; or (v) any other matter relating to the Exam.
13. To defend, indemnify, release, and hold harmless Allen, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors, licensees, shareholders, and attorneys (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of, in connection with, or related to: (i) the Candidate’s participation in the Exam; (ii) any property damage, personal injury, or death to any person; (iii) the awarding, receipt, use, or misuse of any scholarships or other benefits conferred in connection with the Exam; and (iv) the collection, use, storage, disclosure, processing, or handling of any personal data or information belonging to You or the Candidate, whether such claims arise under applicable data protection, privacy, or other laws.

9. FORCE MAJEURE
10. Allen shall not be held liable for any delay, interruption, or failure in the performance or execution of the Exam, or any obligations related thereto, to the extent such delay, interruption, or failure is caused by or results from acts, events, circumstances, or causes beyond Allen’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, public health emergencies, acts of war (declared or undeclared), acts of terrorism or threatened terrorism, civil commotion, riots, insurrection, sabotage, blackouts, power failures, equipment or technical malfunctions, fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, tsunami, unusually severe weather, explosion, embargo, labour disputes, strikes (legal or illegal), lockouts, shortages of labour or materials, transportation delays or interruptions, governmental or quasi-governmental actions, regulations, directives, orders, or requests (whether or not such actions are later determined to be invalid), or any other cause, whether similar or dissimilar to the foregoing, that is beyond the reasonable control of Allen (each, a “Force Majeure Event”).
11. In the occurrence of any Force Majeure Event, Allen shall be excused from the performance of its affected obligations for the duration of such Force Majeure Event and shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising therefrom.

10. DISCLAIMERS
11. You acknowledge and agree, on behalf of Yourself and the Candidate, that participation in the Exam involves the use of internet-based technologies, systems, and third-party platforms that may be subject to malfunctions, security vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, or other technological issues. Allen expressly disclaims any and all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to: (i) the use of, or inability to use, any system, platform, or device used in connection with the Exam; (ii) any technical issues, including without limitation, hardware or software failures, configuration errors, connectivity problems, bandwidth limitations, data corruption, data loss, or unauthorized access; or (iii) any damage to any computer, mobile device, or other equipment resulting from access to or download of any materials related to the Exam. 
12. Allen reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, postpone, or suspend the Exam, in whole or in part, if Allen determines that the administration, security, integrity, or fairness of the Exam has been compromised or may be compromised by any virus, bug, technical issue, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, system failure, force majeure event, or any other cause beyond Allen’s reasonable control.
13. Allen further reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Exam if: (i) Allen determines that the administration or conduct of the Exam violates or may violate any applicable laws, regulations, or governmental guidelines; or (ii) the Exam, in its existing or any modified form, no longer aligns with Allen’s educational standards, policies, or operational capabilities.
14. Allen makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the Exam, including without limitation, the availability, accessibility, functionality, accuracy, or completeness of the Exam platform or related content. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Allen disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Exam will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
15. Participation in the Exam does not guarantee any specific results, rankings, awards, scholarships, admissions, or future academic or career outcomes. All evaluations, results, and decisions made by Allen in connection with the Exam are final and binding and shall not be subject to challenge or appeal, except as expressly provided under applicable law or these Terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW
12. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or related to the Exam or other scholarships awarded pursuant to the Exam or to these Terms shall, in all respects, be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of India. Candidate hereby agree to irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Bangalore, India.

12. MISCELLANEOUS
13. Allen reserves all rights to change these Terms, or the scholarship and rewards awarded under the Exam, at its sole discretion and without assigning any reason for the same. Modifications of these Terms will be effective from the time they are updated. 
14. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Candidate and Allen concerning the Candidate’s participation in the Exam. 
15. The failure of Allen to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. 
16. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, both parties acknowledge and agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the intentions reflected in the provision, and that the other provisions of these terms shall remain in full force and effect. 
17. A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right to enforce or receive the benefit of any of these Terms.

13. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
14. By registering the Candidate for the Exam, or by permitting the Candidate to participate therein, You, in Your capacity as the parent or legal guardian of the Candidate, hereby acknowledge and affirm that You have read, understood, and expressly agree, on behalf of Yourself and the Candidate, to be bound by these Terms, including all rules, policies, and conditions referenced or incorporated herein by reference. Your continued access to or use of any Exam-related services shall constitute reaffirmation of such acknowledgment and agreement.
