Moment of inertia of a rigid body about an axis of rotation is defined as the sum of product of each point mass and square of its perpenducular distance from the axis of rotation.
The S.I. unit of moment of inertia is kg. `m^(2)`.
The dimension of moment of inertia is `[M^(1)L^(2)T^(0)]`
