Electromagnetic induction is a phenomenon of producing an induced emf in a conductor or conducting coil due to changing magnetic flux or field.
Theoretical proof of ` e = - ( d phi ) /( dt ) ` :
Numerial :
Given : ` L = 2m, r = 10 Omega, R = 990 Omega , E = 2 V `
The curren in the circuit is
` I = ( E )/( r + R ) = ( 2 ) /( 10 + 990) `
` = ( 2 )/( 1000) = 2 xx 10 ^( - 3 ) A `
The potential difference across the wire is
` V = I r `
` = 2 xx 10 ^( - 3 ) xx 10 = 2 xx 10 ^( -2 ) V `
` therefore ` Potential gradient along the wire
` = ( V) /( L ) = ( 2 xx 10 ^( - 2 ) ) /( 2 ) ` = ` = 10 ^( -2 ) V//m `
