Some organisms prepare their food by chemo- synthesis i.e., they use energy released during chemical reactions for synthesis of food. e.g., Nitrifying bacteria-Nitrosomonas, Sulphur bacteria- Thiobacillus, Iron bacteria-Ferrobacillus.
