Let `rho` =density of sugar solution

` m=`mass of ice
In floating condition weight=upthrust
`:. mg=V_(D)rhog`
or, `V_(D)=(m)/(rho)` …(i)
when ice melts, m mass of ice becomes m mass of water. Volume of this water formed.
`V_(F)=(m)/(rho_(w))` ...(ii)
Since, `rho_(w)ltrho , V_(F)gtV_(D)` .Hence, level will increase.
