Substituting the sign of f only in the mirror formula ,we have
`(1/v)+(1/u)=(1/+f) implies (1/v)=(1/f)-(1/u)`
for real image v should be negative and for this u should be positive and less then f. Object distance u is positive means object should be virtual and lying between p and F. The ray diagram is as shown below

Here, O= virtual between P and F
I = real.
