In the sequence of the reaction
`A overset(-beta)rarr B overset(-beta)rarr C overset(-alpha)rarr D`, what is the relationship between `D` and `A`?

From transformation of `A overset(-beta)rarr B overset(-beta)rarr C overset(-beta)rarr D`.
the changes in mass number and atomic number is:
`._(gamma)A^(X) overset(-alpha)rarr ._(gamma -1)B^(X) overset(-beta)rarr._(Y + 2)C^(X) overset(-alpha)-to ._(Y)D^(X - 4)`
Therefore, the atomic number of `A` and `D` is same. Hence, it is an isotope.
