How the sturctue of amorphous silica (quartz glass) differ from quartz?

Amophous silica (quartz glass) is amorphous solid in which `SiO_(4)` tetrahedra does not have a long range order whereas quartz is a crystalline solid in which `SiO_(4)` tetrahedra is arranged in a regular manner.
