What is the effect of temperature on the rate constant of a reactiion ? How can this temperature effect on rate constant be represented quantitatively ?

The rate constant of a reaction increases with increase of temperature and becomes nearly double for every `10^(@)C` rise of temperature. The effect can be represented quantitatively by Arrhenius equation,
`k=Ae^(-Ea//RT)`
where `E_(a)` is he activation energy of the reaction and `A` represents the frequency for binary collisions or is also called pre`-` exponential factor.
