The shadows are formed at the same time.

`:.(PR)/(AC)=(QR)/(BC)`
`:.(PR)/(AC)=(QR)/(BC)`……[Corresponding sides of similar triangles are proportional]
`:.(4)/(8)=(6)/(x)`
`:.4xx x=8xx6 :. x=(8xx6)/(4)`
`:.x=12 : BC=12m`
