A body moves in the southern direction for `10 s` at the speed of `10 ms^(-1)`. It then starts moving in the eastern direction at the speed of `20 ms^(-1)` for `10 s`, The magnitude of the average velocity is …………………………, The averge speed is ……………………., The total displacement will be .....................,

`AB=10xx10= 100 m, BC=20xx10=200 m`
.
Displacemect, `AC=sqrt (AB^(2)+BC^(2)) =100sqrt5 m`
Average velocity`=(AC)/(t)=(100 sqrt 5)/(20)=5sqrt5 m s^(-1)`
Average speed `=(AB+BC)/(t) =(100+200)/(20) =15 m s^(-1)`.
