(i) `227.2g`,
(ii)` 3600g`
(iii)` 0.00602g`
(iv)` 250xx10^(10)g`

A

`4,2,3,3`

B

`3,4,3,2`

C

`4,2,5,2`

D

`3,2,2,1`

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
A

(i)227.2 g has all the non -zero digis. Hence, it has four significant figures.
(ii) According to the rule number 4, trailing zeroes are not significant. Hence, 3600 g has 2 significant figures.
(iii) According to the rule number 3, the zeroes at the begninning are not significant, Hence,0.00602 g has 3 significant figures.
(iv) Accouding to the rule number 6,it has 3 significant figures.
