Empirical formula mass `=CH_(2)O`
`=12 + 2 xx 1 + 16 = 30`
Molecular mass = 180
`n= "molecular mass"/"Empirical formula mass"`
`= 180/ 30 = 6`

` = 6 xx CH_(2) O = C_(6) H_(12) O_(6)`
