Complex compounds : Transition metal atoms or ions form a large number of compounds in which anions or neutrp l groups are bound to metal atom or ion through coordinate covalent bonds. Such compounds are called co-ordination compounds (or) complex compounds.
`Eg. : [Fe(CN)_(6)]^(4-), [Co(NH_(3))_(6)]^(3+)`.
