On the basis of the hydrolysis, carbohydrates are classified as
1) Monosaccharides , Eg: Glucose, fructose `overset(H_2O)(to)` No saccharides
2) Oligosaccharides , Eg : Sucrose, maltose `overset(H_2O)(to)` two monosaccharides
3) Polysaccharides, Eg : Strach, cellulose `overset(H_2O)(to)` large monosccharides.
