Given, For first bulb,
`P_(1) = 25 W`
`V_(1) = 120 V`

Resistance of first bulb `R_(1) = (V_(1)^(2))/(P_(1))`
`R_(1) = ((120)^(2))/(25) to (1)`
For second bulb, `P_(2) = 200W, V_(2) - 120 V`
Resistance of second bulb,
`R_(2) = ((120)^(2))/(200) to (2)`
`((1))/((2)) implies (R_(1))/(R_(2)) = 8 implies R_(1) = 8R_(2)`
As `R_(1) gt R_(2)`, 25 W bulb burnt out almost instantaneously, since two bulbs have rated at same voltage.
