Here, the angle between the magnetic field and the direction of flow of current is `90^(@)`. Because the magnetic field due to solenoid is along the axis of solenoid and the wire is placed perpendicular to the axis.
Given, `l=3 cm =3xx10^(-2)m, I=10 A, B=0.27 T`
`f= I l B sin 90^(@)`
`=10xx3xx10^(-2)xx0.27=8.1xx10^(-2) N`
According to right hand palm rule, the direction of magnetic forces is perpendicular to plane of paper inwards.

What is the direction of magnetic field line inside of a solenoid?

A long straight wire carrying a current of 30 A is placed in an external uniform magnetic field of induction 4xx10^(-4) T. The magnetic field is acting parallel to the direction of current. The magnitude of the resultant magnetic induction in tesla at a point 2.0 cm away from the wire is (mu=4pixx10^(-7)Hm^(-1))

(A) : A solenoid tend to contract when a current passes through it. (R) : The magnetic field inside the solenoid is uniform.
