Determine current through batteries `epsilon_(1)` and `epsilon_(2)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

At node `a, ((y+20)-x)/(5)+(y-10)/(5)+(y-0)/(5)=0`
`rArr x-3y =10`

`(x -(y+20))/(5)+(x -10)/(5) +(x-0)/(5) = 0`
`rArr 3x -y =30` (ii)
On solving we get x = 10V and y =0V
From figure it is clear that current through each battery will bwe 2A.
