Suppose you want the current amplitude in a pure inductor in a radio receiver to be `250(mu)A` when the voltage amplitude is `3.60V` at a frequency of 1.60 MHz,(corresponding to the upper is 3.60 V AM broadcast band). What inductive reactance is needed? What inductance is required?

we are given the current ammplitude, `I_(0)`, and the voltage amplitude, `E_(0)`. The inductive reactance
`X_(L)=(E_0)/(I_0)=(3.60)/(250xx10^(-6))=1.44xx10^(4)Omega=14.4 k Omega`
`L=(X_L)/(2 pi f)=(1.44xx10^(4)Omega)/(2 pi (1.60xx10^(6)Hz)=1.43xx10^(-3)H=1.43mH`.
