A liquid 'A' is treated with Na(2)CO(3) ...

A liquid 'A' is treated with `Na_(2)CO_(3)` solution. A mixture of two salts 'B' and 'C' is produced in the solution. The mixture on acidification with sulphuric acid and distillation produces in the solution. The mixture on acidification with sulphuric acid and distillation produces the liqiud 'A" agin. Identify 'A','B' and 'C' and write the equations involved.

`A+Na_(2)CO_(3)rarr B+Coverset(N_(2)SO_(4))underset("distillation")(rarr)A`
Liquid `'A'` is bromine , which on treatement with `Na_(2)CO_(3)` forms a mixture of `NaBr` and `BaBrO_(3)`. The mixture on acidification and distillation gives liquid bromine again.`2Br_(2)+3Na_(2)CO_(3) rarr 5NaBr+NaBrO_(3)+3CO_(2)`
`4NaBr+NaBrO_(3)+3H_(2)SO_(4) rarr 3Na_(2)SO_(4)+3Br_(2)+2H_(2)O`.
