(a) IUPAC name: 2,4,4- Trimethyl hexane.
(b) Condensed formula: `CH_(3)CH_(2)C(CH_(3))_(2)Ch_(2)CH(CH_(3))_(2)`
or
`Me CH_(2)C(me)_(2)CH_(2)CHMe_(2)`
(c) Write the structure in stick formulae:

`a=1^(@) , b=2^(@) , c=3^(@) , d=4^(@)`
`A 1^(@) C` is bonded to only other C, a `2^(@) C` is bonded to two other C atoms, and a `4^(@) C` is bonded to four other C atoms. (The C of `CH_(4)` is super `1^(@)`).
(d) `1^(@)` hydrogen atoms are those attached to `1^(@)` C atoms, `2^(@)` H atoms to `2^(@)` C atoms, and `3^(@)` H atoms to `3^(@)` C atoms, `4^(@)` H atoms cannot exist because all four bonds of a `4^(@)` C are attached to other C atoms.
(e) H atoms bonded to `1^(@), 2^(@), 3^(@)`, and `4^(@)` C atoms are 3, 2, 1, and 0, respectivectively.
(f) C atoms bonded to `1^(@), 2^(@), 3^(@)`, and `4^(@)` C atoms are 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
