5 D.U. in (A) suggests benzene ring (4 D.U.) and (CHO) group (1 D.U.).
ii. Total C atoms in (A) = 9.
iii. Formation of (B) suggests that two C atoms `(CH_(3)CH_(2)`-group) are present in ortho-position to (CHO) group.
