Which of the following quantities remain constant during projectile motion?

A

Initial velocity inclined to the horizontal

B

Zero velocity at the highest point

C

Constant acceleration perpendicular to the velocity

D

None of the above

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
D

In a projectile motion, it is not necessary that initial must be inclined to the horizontal. Further, only vertical component of velocity is zero at the highest point. Also, constant acceleration is perpendicular to velocity only at the highest point.
