Here, mass of the empty bucket,
`m=1kg`
volume of the bucket,
`V=10` litres`=10xx10^-3m^3=10^-2m^3`
relative density of the liquid,
`RD=0.8`
As `RD=("density of liquid"(d))/("density of water "(at4^@C))`,`0.8=1000(kg)/(m^3)`
or `d=0.8xx1000(kg)/(m^3)=800(kg)/(m^3)` Mass of the liquid in the bucket6, `M=Vxxd=(10^-2m^3)xx(800(kg)/(m^3))=8kg`
Total mass of the bucket`=m+M=1kg+8kg=9kg`
