One newton is absolute unit of force on mks system and dyne is absolute unit of foce on cgs system.
The dimensions of force in mass, length and time are : a =1, b =1, c= -2
As we have to convert mks system into cgs system, therefore,
`M_1 = 1kg , L_1 = 1 m, T_1 =1s and M_2 =1 g, L_2 =1cm, T_2 = 1s`
`n_1 = 1netwon , n_2` (number of dynes) =?
as `n_2 =n_1((M_1)/(M_2))^a ((L_1)/(L_2))^b ((T_1)/(T_2))^c`
`:. n_2 =1((1kg)/(1g))^1 ((1m)/(1cm))^(-2) =1 ((10^3g)/(1g))^1 ((10^2cm)/(1cm))^1 xx1 =10^3 xx10^2 =10^5`
Hence, `1`" newton" =10^5 dyne`

Convert 1 newton (SI unit of force) into dyne (CGS unit of force)

The unit of force in SI system is newton and it is given as 1 newton = 1kg m s^(-2) . In CGS system its unit is dyne and it is given as 1 dyne = 1 g cm s^(2).
