The lenghts of two cylinders are measured to be `i_1 = (5.62 +- 0.01)`cm and `I_2 = (4.34 +- 0.02)`cm. Calculate difference in lengths with error limtits.

Here, `I_1 = (5.62 +- 0.01)cm, I_2 =(4.34+- 0.02)cm`
`I = I_1 - I_2 = 5.62 - 4.34 = 1.28 cm., Delta I' = +- (Delta I_1 +Delta I_2) =+-(0.01 +0.02) = +- 0.03`
Percentage error `=(+-0.03)/(1.28)xx100 = +- 2.34%`
Hence, difference in lengths `= (1.28 +- 0.03)cm = 1.28 cm+- 2.34%`
