The voltage across a lamp is `(6.0 +- 0.1) V` and the current passing through it is `(4.0 +- 0.2)` ampare. Find the power consumed by the lamp.

Here, `V = (6.0+-0.1)"volt", I = (4.0 +- 0.2)A`
Power consumed, `P = VI = (6.0)(4.0) = 24.0 watt`
Now, `(DeltaP)/(P) = (DeltaV)/(V) +(DeltaI)/(I) =(0.1)/(6.0)+(0.2)/(4.0) = (0.8)/(12.0)`
`DeltaP = (0.8)/(12.0)P = (0.8xx24.0)/(12.0) = 1.6"watt"`
Hence Power consumed ` =(24.0 +- 1.6)watt`
