`(20.5+- 0.6 cm ; 3.5 +- 0.6)cm`

`I_2 +I_2 = 12.0 +8.5 =20.5cm`
`Error =+- (Delta I_1 +Delta I_2) = +- (0.1 +0.5) =+- 0.6cm`
`I_2 - I_2 =12.0 - 8.5 =3.5 cm`
Error =+- `(Delta I_1 +Delta I_2) =+-(0.1 +0.5) = +-0.6cm`.
Hence `I_1 +I_2 = (20.5 +- 0.6)`cm,and
`I_1 - I_2 =(3.5 +- 0.6)cm`.
