A vecto `vec A` has magnitude `2` and another vector `vec B` has magnitude `3`. They are perpendicular to each other. By vector diagram, find the magnitude of `vec A + vec B` and dhow its direcction in the diagram.

Let magnitude (1) be represented by ` 1 cm`. Draw, ` vec (PQ) = 2 vec A`. Where, `PQ =4 cm ,
Deaw, ` vec (PQ) =vec B, perpendicular to 2 vec A`.
Here, ` QS = cm`.
Now, (2 vec A + vec B), will be repersented by ` vec (PS).
Hence, ` PS = sqrt(PQ^(2) + QS^(2)) = sqrt (4^(2) + 3^(2)) =5`
Therefore magnitude of (2 vec A + vec B) os 5. Fig. 2 (c ) . 67.
