The body travels a distance `s_(1) ` with velcity ` v_(1)` and `s_92)` with velcity v_(2)` in the same directin. Calculate the average velocity of the body .

Time taken for distance (s_(1)) is given by,
Time taken for distance (s_(2)) is given by,
`t_(2)=s_(2) //v`
Total distanc ecoverd =s_(1) + s_(2)` ,
Total time taken `=t_(1) + t_(2)`
:. Average velocity =(total distanc )/(total time taken)`
`= (s_(1) +s_(2)/(t_(1) + t_(2)) = 9s_(1) +s_(2))/((s_(1) //v_(1)) + (s_(2)//v_(2))`
`= ((s_(1) +s_(2)) v_(1) v_(2))/(s_(1) v_(2) +s_(2) v_(1))`.
